Presented by DuPont
In this technical webinar, DuPont will introduce the company’s new Crastin® FR68XNH1 family of resins for electrical and electronics applications. These Crastin® PBT materials:
- Deliver superior electrical properties without halogenated flame retardants
- Enable compliance with regulatory standards (viz. RoHS) and safety standards (viz. UL, VDE).
- Provide higher flow to enable thinner, lighter and space saving designs.
With Crastin® FR68XNH1 resins, greater performance and productivity can be achieved while being compliant with all relevant regulations.
In fact, these new grades provide a higher CTI, higher flow and lower density than halogenated PBT resins, plus a good balance of mechanical properties and equivalent processing performance. They also feature an excellent surface finish and are laser markable.
The webinar will include technical details and test results on the Crastin® FR68XNH1 PBT products’ heat aging performance, melt viscosity, electrical properties at elevated temperatures and color stability.
