Consumers and businesses globally recognize the UL mark on electrical and electronic (E&E) products as an assurance of safety and reliability. It demonstrates that the products have undergone rigorous testing and met the necessary safety requirements. However, applying for UL certification for E&E fabricated parts can take time. One way to speed up the process is to use UL-compliant polymer solutions.
The webinar is intended for manufacturers, brand owners, and anyone involved in designing and manufacturing E&E products, looking for color solutions. It will give them insights into:
- How different UL flammability standards apply to polymeric materials
- The impact of using UL-compliant color concentrates for the coloration of fabricated plastic parts versus not using UL-compliant materials
- Finding UL-compliant color concentrates relevant to the specified resin grade and targeted flammability rating – demonstration
- Increasing the sustainability of E&E products using recycling and eco-conscious polymer solutions
Our presenter for this webinar is Benoit Flammang, Senior E&E Marketing Manager at Avient, with 30 years of experience in the plastic industry.
