Recorded Tuesday, November 1 – Presented by BASF
In this webinar we are going to review how to improve wetting when developing hard surface cleaners. We will reinforce this with a case study on plastic rinse aids, an especially difficult substrate to wet.
Rinse Aids are regularly used in mechanical dishwashers and along with a good detergent provide sparking clean dishes.
An auto-dish detergent cleans the dishes. However, even on clean dishes, the rinse water can cause spotting from water hardness. Such spots can give a perception of dirty dishes. This problem can be seen on various types of dishes but is most pronounced with plastic ware.
As plastics are becoming more common in a sustainably-driven economy, there is a market desire to extend the life of plastic dishes, especially esthetically.
BASF has developed “Plurafac® LF RA-P,” a surfactant with a uniquely tailored chemistry that provides a high performing rinse benefit, especially for plastics. We will show statistical data about Plurafac LF RA-P’s performance.
