Recorded Thursday, October 18 – Presented by The Shepherd Color Company
Pushing the Edge of the Durable Color Envelope comes down to giving chemists and formulators the pigments that are chromatic, opaque and durable. These three properties perhaps are hardest to achieve in the yellow color space.
The historical standard pigments like lead chromate are removed from use, high-performance organic options lack opacity and stability, and even the modern alternative Bismuth Vanadate has room for improvement in shade and opacity. The new NTP Yellow and the improved RTZ Orange pigments bring outstanding heat stability, excellent opacity, along with highly chromatic masstone colors and strong, clean tints.
These pigments already are showing excellent performance in South Florida weathering and are becoming the standard to which all other options must be measured when it comes to high-durability options in the yellow-red color space.
This webinar will show the performance and advantages of the NTP Yellow and RTZ Orange pigments and how they can help you formulate your high-performance products.
