Stepan Company is pleased to announce that five of our North American (NA) manufacturing sites are now mass balance-certified, in compliance with the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) guidelines. The newly- certified plants are:
- Millsdale – Elwood,
- Winder,
- Anaheim,
- Fieldsboro, NJ
- Maywood, NJ
In addition to the U.S. facilities, our Wesseling, Germany and Stalybridge, U.K., and Voreppe, France sites have been certified since 2014 and 2015, respectively. The company plans to certify the remaining manufacturing sites that handle palm-based products as well. Stepan has been a member of RSPO since 2011 and is committed to making sustainable palm oil and palm oil derivatives the industry standards.
