ACC-webinarRecorded Thursday, May 26 at 2PM EDT – Presented by ACC

Join Steven G. Hentges, Ph.D., of the Polycarbonate/BPA Global Group of the American Chemistry Council for an update on Polycarbonate Plastic and Bisphenol A (BPA).  In recent years, a great deal of attention has focused on BPA, a building-block chemical used to manufacture durable, shatter-resistant polycarbonate plastic, which is widely used in products such as food & beverage containers; electronics; and window glazing and solar panels; and much more.

Join this webinar as Dr. Hentges covers two important and timely topics: First, he will review the latest science supporting the safety of BPA, including the most recent research from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In the second part of the webinar, Dr. Hentges will explain the implications of BPA’s inclusion on California’s Proposition 65 list, including guidance on how to evaluate whether polycarbonate products will require a Proposition 65 warning.  Join in to learn: What to Know and What’s Ahead with Polycarbonate and Prop 65.
