In April, you’ll notice some changes taking place with Innovadex. As you may remember, Innovadex joined the UL family of companies in 2013 due to our shared belief that fast access to accurate technical information speeds innovation and improves the quality and safety of products for consumers.
Since then, we’ve been working to integrate our services with our sister company, IDES. IDES serves the plastics and metals industry with materials data in much the same way that Innovadex serves product developers in the eight industries we currently cover. Next month, Innovadex and IDES will officially join forces as Prospector®, improving both the quality of information we provide and the breadth of our industry coverage.
What does this mean for Innovadex members? A change in the look and name of the site, as well as a new url, ULProspector.com, will greet users when the change takes effect. Registered users of both Innovadex and IDES will maintain all of their login information and any other saved search data.
And with Prospector, members can expect to see a continuation of Innovadex’s drive to constantly catalog new ingredients and raw materials, offering the most up-to-date and fastest data access available anywhere. The ability to order and track samples, save searches, and contact suppliers will also continue after the site changes.
