OMNOVA will showcase at Booth B51 the Company’s broad portfolio of coating resins and floor care polymers (PLIOLITE®, Hydro PLIOLITE®, PLIOWAY®, PLIOTEC® and MOR-GLO®) that add valued performance attributes to applications that include exterior masonry, direct-to-metal, stain blocking, intumescence, waterproofing, as well as institutional floor care.
EUROCOAT 2016 will be an excellent opportunity for OMNOVA to introduce its recent waterborne developments:
- PLIOTEC LEB18 binder for façades has all the advantages of current best-in-class options, but incorporates new technology from OMNOVA that provides the added bonuses of robust film formation and superior resistance to surfactant leaching and efflorescence, common problems that can prematurely disfigure façades.
- MOR-GLO ULTRA G zinc-free floor care polymer delivers superior shine, durability, repairability, and resistance to dirt and scuffing. When formulated into a floor finish, this new polymer achieves the level of performance commonly associated with zinc-containing products.
- PLIOTEC HDT12 environmentally preferred resin is specifically designed for the formulation of metal coatings, from high gloss direct-to-metal enamels to anti-corrosion primers, with unequalled adhesion to ferrous and non-ferrous metals and outstanding water resistance properties. OMNOVA’s “Hydrophobic Dispersion Technology” also is particularly suitable for the formulation of multi-surface paints, with superior adhesion on non-porous substrates and fast hardness development.
In addition, OMNOVA will present a paper “Intumescent coatings: truly functional coatings that save lives – Latest developments” at the Eurocoat Congress (afternoon session “functional coatings” on March 23rd).
