I think it would be smart to get flipcharts for the plastic injection molding. I think it would be smart to get help because then you can track your progress and what you have been doing. It also makes sure that you don’t run out of the product.
information afforded here is useful;
I love Prospector 🙂
I have used the flipchart in the past to reference issues that I couldn’t figure out and it was very helpful.
All I want is to find processing information on materials that have already been bought.
It’s getting nearly impossible to get the information I need from this web site.
We’re sorry to hear of your frustration, Ray. What processing information are you looking for?

Use Prospector to have access to supplier materials and use own knowledge to solve processing issues for injection machines and moulds.
Your Troubleshooting Flip Chart would be a great teaching tool if there was an explanation for each defect – recommendation combination. I realize it would no longer be just a flip chart.
Also, your #1 recommendation for excessive flash, to lower injection pressure, is incorrect for most molding processes today. Most molders use speed control with unlimited pressure. The correct answer would be reduce shot size or increase transfer position.
Thanks for the feedback, Andrew! We’ll look at creating a new article with updated information.
