Alessandra Marelli has been driving marketing strategies across the EMEA region for hair care applications within the Personal Care market. She joined Dow in November 2011 as member of the Commercial Development Program in Milan, Italy. After the program, she was appointed Commercial Development Specialist for Dow Water and Process Solutions (DW&PS) in Tarragona, Spain. She led the implementation of the technology of Ultrafiltration within the European market. In October 2014, Alessandra joined Dow Plastics & Specialty Packaging (P&SP), in Milan as Customer Manager in charge of different customers in food, industrial and hygiene sector. Alessandra was responsible for the distributor channel in Italy and dealt with important key customers for P&SP in Europe. She represented Dow in Plastic Europe Italy and in the main associations. She holds a master degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan and an executive MBA from the Business School of MIP, Politecnico of Milan.
Charlène Courtet
Associate Technical Service & Development Scientist, Hair Care

Charlène Courtet has a master’s degree in chemistry and chemical engineering with a specialization in formulation. She worked 2 years as formulation scientist in Hair Care Discover department at Unilever Port Sunlight. In 2015, she joined Dow as TS&D Specialist in the personal care team. She is technical project leader for the launch and deployment of personal care raw material and formulation innovations as well as expert in performance assessment of silicones and organics raw materials. In parallel, Charlène is developing new hair care test methods for product launches, claims substantiations, patents and publications redaction. She also provides technical support to key customers and distribution’s customers in EMEA region.
