Global sustainability challenges call for a fundamental paradigm shift in business models. Climate change, disturbed ecosystems and scarce resources for a growing world population could be overcome with a change in consumption, production and value creation. Covestro is aware of all these challenges, that is why since 2020 it implemented Circular Economy as its core guiding principle and has recently announced that it will become operationally climate neutral by 2035.

In 2021, Covestro took a step forward and introduced its new portfolio of renewable attributed solutions for the Medical Industry, Healthcare RE. Today this portfolio expands to offer a wider variety of materials for a broader selection of Medical Devices.
