Increasing technical demands in terms of operating safety, higher energy density and therefore higher heat resistance combined with a decreased risk of fire are driving the electronic and electrical industry. Megatrends such as e-mobility, energy storage, smart grids and smart home applications require modern polymeric insulation materials.

Join our webinar to learn from one of our experts how to choose the best and most suitable resin for protecting and insulating your electronic and electrical parts.

In this webinar Wevo will present:

    • Guidelines choosing of the right insulation material:
Whether you need a flexible resin to protect sensitive electronics or a stiff material for a moulded transformer, the webinar will give you helpful guidance to choose from different base chemistries. The specific properties, advantages and disadvantages of polyurethane, epoxy and silicone resins will be discussed in detail. The webinar will provide a deeper insight into added values of insulating resins such as increased thermal conductivity, dielectric properties and flame resistance.
    • An overview of Wevo’s fire-retardant resin solutions:
Self-extinguishing resins with UL 94 V approvals and fire-retardant properties for railway applications with approval according EN 45545-2 will be highlighted.
    • An overview of Wevo’s heat-resistant and thermal conductive solutions:
Choosing a safe and temperature-resistant material requires a deep understanding of the ageing mechanisms. Both established and new RTI-approved polyurethane, epoxy and silicone resins will be presented. Get to know the newest additions of B, F and H class materials on Wevo’s UL yellow card (E108835) as WEVOPUR 67210 FL, WEVOPOX 36001 FL and WEVOSIL 22006 FL for motor and transformer applications.
    • See valuable application examples of current topics in the E&E industry:
Practical application examples will provide guidance for different electronic and electrical applications, including current topics following megatrends such as e-mobility, energy distribution and storage and smart home applications.
