A non-genotoxic aziridine crosslinker for waterborne systems, NeoAdd™ PAX
Crosslinkers are used to deliver high levels of chemical resistance and strength for the toughest applications – but these highly reactive chemical species often come with serious health risks and, consequently, labeling limitations.
In line with DSM’s ambitious, industry-leading target of phasing out all Chemicals of High Concern from our final products by 2025, we developed a world-first solution: our low-toxicity aziridine crosslinker family, NeoAdd™ PAX, which offers all the performance with half the labeling.
NeoAdd™ PAX is a new family of polymeric aziridine crosslinkers that allows formulators, convertors, and manufacturers to achieve all the performance without the issues associated with handling highly toxicity materials.
During this webinar we will explore the science, reactivity and utility of the NeoAdd™ PAX polymeric aziridines.
We will explain how this polymeric aziridine can deliver the reactivity of traditional aziridines, but – thanks to its high molecular weight and specially designed polymer structure – much lower levels of toxicity. As such, it enables strong, resistant and durable coatings that open up new possibilities around the world for a wide range of markets, including industrial, architectural, packaging, ink, adhesives and leather.
