STEPANQUAT® Soleil is a novel hair conditioning quat that offers a better story for the consumer, the formulator and the environment.

A majority of consumers define themselves as green/clean/conscious beauty buyers and this conditioning agent has been developed in accordance with their main expectations in mind. STEPANQUAT® Soleil is a European-sourced, GMO-free sunflower oil and does not contain any additives. Its high performance is similar to behentrimonium chloride. By smoothing each individual hair strand, hair will be  super-soft and manageable. It allows for easy combing and possesses great substantivity while being easily removed.

Formulators will be happy to work with this 100% actives conditioning cationic, which is a liquid and easy, quicker and safer to use. Formulators can explore all kinds of textures and product forms.

Lastly, STEPANQUAT® Soleil has a better environmental profile than the most popular quats (behentrimonium and cetrimonium chloride) thanks to its ready biodegradability and sunflower oil feedstock.
