This overview video tutorial presented by Sam Morell introduces Rheology and covers the following topics – rheology defined, the essential elements of rheology, material differences of various liquids and solids, and an initial understanding of the term viscosity.

Thanks for the nice presentation
I just wonder if we can affect Rheology of coating/paint without extra additivers to the chemical formulation, specially for coating applied by dipping.
how does the weight percent amount of of ingrediens like water, or potassium silicate can affect Rheology. I mean does a formula have more liquid will have better Rheology, easier to flow. there is a case that I have to lower the amount liquid and increase the solid particle in my formula to keep the viscosity up, to the 1000cp. but I have a problem that the liquid coating on the parts does not flow easily, after extracting the parts from the coating bath, then I have to knock the parts a lot to get red off the extra coating. the problem with high stress knocking cause me less dry coating weigh/ dry thickness of my target on the parts
I am a teacher and I taught composition, manufacture and paints controls
Thank you very much for your help, all your tutorials are clear and profitable
Nice presentation!!!
