Recorded Tuesday, February 9 at 11AM EST – Presented by UL Performance Materials
UL understands that product manufacturers work hard to keep up with supply chain demands that restrict the use of certain substances in materials including halogens. While discussions about “halogen-free” or “zero-halogen” or “non-halogenated” products have been taking place for some time, there is no clear or consistent definition for these terms. As a result, the industry is confused as to what is considered “halogen free” and different suppliers/users have different interpretation of the requirements.
At UL, our goal is to help facilitate customer access to the global marketplace. In this webinar, Noe Navarro and Scott MacLeod will provide an overview of UL’s new innovative Non-Halogenated and Non-Chlorine & Non-Bromine Certification programs, including the requirements and benefits to the supply chain. Please sign-up and join us to learn how the Non-Halogenated Certification of plastics (QMFZ2) at UL can simplify the qualification process and speed-up market access.
